Get Involved in the Non-Partisan Congress Caucus

Americans are fed up

So are our leading Senators, like John Cornyn: “our lack of productivity …verges on… malpractice.”

And Senator Markwayne Mullin : “If we don’t start putting this country first, and partisanship last, we’re going to ruin the country.”

Political Party control of Congress has failed, divided Americans, and earned Congress 19% +/- public approval in monthly polling by Gallup. 19% is FAILING.

Insanity: “Doing the same thing and expecting different results.”

“The Democratic and Republican caucuses are the problem.” A “non-partisan Congress may be needed.”
– Former US Senator Bob Kerrey

Federal law (Title 5 U.S. Code § 7324) already makes it a crime for Federal Employees to engage in partisan activity while on duty. Congress Members exempted themselves. Let’s tell our elected officials we want them to obey the law, and keep partisanship out of the Capitol. If not, explain to your constituents that you are exempt from the law, and why.

What will it look like – a Non-Partisan Congress? In a Non-Partisan Congress, each Member will be free to follow their conscience, placing the good of the country first. Members’ votes will not be “whipped” by Party leaders. Members will vote as they see best for their constituents. Congress won’t promote division and strife. Congress will promote a more perfect union as required by their oath to the Constitution.

“We have a responsibility to Unite America, and not divide it.”
- Senator Dick Durbin

A Non-Partisan Congress. It’s Already The Law.
