FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Non-Partisan Congress’s mission is to extend and complete the reforms Congress began, but left unfinished, with the 1995 Congressional Accountability Act. In October 2024, Non-Partisan Congress is launching its educational initiatives, designed to inform and engage Members of Congress and the public on the steps needed to ensure the U.S. Congress complies with Federal Law. These initiatives will promote the transition from the current partisan structures to a non-partisan structure consistent with Title 5 US Code § 7324. Read full release... |

Title 5 U.S. Code § 7324 prohibits partisan political activity by Federal Employees during the workday. Members of Congress are Federal Employees. The Rules of the House of Representatives states "those who make [the laws] shall not exempt themselves".
